Tributes to Cinematic families and Masters
Several cycles are dedicated to celebrating influential figures in film history.”Famiglia Cervi: a tribute” explores the legacy of Italian cinema through the work of the Cervi family – Gino, Tonino, Valentina, and Antonio Levesi Cervi – spanning three generations of acting, production, and direction.
“Treasures of Cinema” presents “Che Bergman. The Bergmanian thousand,” a cycle dedicated to the works of Ingmar Bergman, in collaboration with the Swedish Embassy in Buenos Aires and the University of the Argentine Social Museum.Additionally, the influence of Federico Fellini will be highlighted through “Fellini’s music in ‘Fellinesca'” and the “DEER FAMILY” cycle, featuring the documentary Fellinopolis, produced by Antonio Levesi cervi, offering a glimpse into Fellini’s creative process at Cinecittà.The cycle also includes screenings of Don Camilo, starring Gino Cervi, and The miser, directed by Tonino Cervi.
Outdoor Screenings and Musical Accompaniments
“Cinema on the Esplanade” continues its tradition of outdoor movie screenings, kicking off with a showing of Ariel Winograd’s comedy Childless (2015) on the first Saturday of December. This cycle is supported by INCAA and Patagonik Films.
