Thiruvananthapuram: KSRTC’s decision to recover money from the employees who incurred losses by boycotting duty in protest against the re-arrangement of services. The order is to recover Rs 9,49,510 from the salary of 111 employees who have incurred losses in 5 equal installments.

The loss will be recovered from the employees of the three KSRTC depots in Thiruvananthapuram which stopped service on June 26. The action is against the employees of Pappanamkode, Vikas Bhavan, City and Perurkada depots. 49 drivers and 62 conductors will be charged. Apart from this, on 12th July 2021, the loss of Rs 40,277 was also ordered to be equally recovered from the 8 employees due to the non-attendance of duty at the Parassala Depot due to the cancellation of service.
