jpnn.comBENGKULU – The candidate pair for mayor of Bengkulu and his deputy Dedy Ermansyah and Nuragiyanti Dewi Permatasari or Agi officially registered with the Bengkulu City KPU, Wednesday (28/8).

The couple arrived greeted with traditional Dol Prameswara dance and music typical of Bengkulu City. Then continued with the garlanding of flowers.

In his speech, Dedy Ermansyah as a mayoral candidate expressed his appreciation to the members of the KPU and Bawaslu as the organizers of the Pilkada.

“We would like to express our gratitude to the Bengkulu City KPU. I saw earlier that the faces of the KPU members were beaming, perhaps because we are the only pair with a woman. We appreciate the professional service of the KPUD,” said Dedy.

In addition, Dedy also expressed his gratitude to all supporting parties. “Thank you also to the ranks of the supporting parties, the NasDem Party, Gerindra, and Demokrat,” he added.

The speech was then continued by Agi. He expressed his hope that the Pilkada would run smoothly and become a joyful event for the people’s democracy.

“I hope that this regional election will be a celebration of people’s democracy, a place to test ideas and programs,” he stressed.

After registration, the Dedy-Agi pair delivered a press conference in the Bengkulu City KPU office. Both of them conveyed their vision and mission in a direct dialogue with the media.

The Dedy-Agi pair offers a number of programs ranging from improving the quality of human resources, urban planning to improving and equalizing the economy.
