The French music app by streaming, Deezercreated 18 years ago by Daniel Marhely and Jonathan Benassaya, announced today the appointment of its CEO to position the brand “in continued profitable growth and innovation in the changing music streaming industry“.
To succeed Stu Bergenwho was interim CEO of Deezer since March this year, the French brand appointed Alexis Lanternier to succeed the American businessman as of September 2.

“As a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with a passion for building digital consumer goods platforms across Europe, Asia and North America over the past 13 years, Alexis Laternier brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record to this new role,” Deezer said in a press release.
