Kochi: Defamation case filed against actor Dileep. The case was taken on the complaint filed by Liberty Basheer. Dileep had alleged that Manju Warrier and Liberty Basheer had conspired together. Also, Dileep had told the court that Liberty Basheer was the reason for the case against Dileep. Following this, Liberty Basheer, president of Kerala Film Exhibitors Federation and member of Kerala Film Development Corporation filed a complaint. According to Liberty Basheer’s complaint, the allegation made by the famous actor was made to defame him. Basheer approached the Thalassery court in the incident. Dileep has been directed to appear in court on November 7 in the case. The complaint says that he tried to show that he was the mastermind of the case against Dileep and tried to mislead the investigating officers.

Last day, the court had issued a warning to Atijeevitha in the case of assaulting the actress. Atijeevta had filed a petition in the High Court against the trial court. The High Court criticized this. The court has informed that strict action will be taken if allegations of basic relief are made. Justice Bechu Kurian Thomas took a strict stand against the petitioner. Atijeevta filed the petition stating that the investigation of the case is being sabotaged. The High Court asked on what basis the criticism was leveled against the court. The reply to this question was that the petition was filed on the basis of the information provided by the prosecution. The court then inquired whether the investigation team is leaking information. On the other hand, Athijeevta informed the court that after examining the charge sheet, a decision can be taken on whether to withdraw from the plea or not.

Even if the petition is withdrawn, the court warned that action will be taken if the trial court makes baseless allegations against the judge. Memory cards are crucial evidence in the case. It was criticized for not being sent for forensic examination. The question of the court was on what basis these criticisms were based. Dileep has been added as a court party. Atijivitha had earlier opposed the inclusion of Dileep in the party. But the question of the court was why it is opposed. Then Dileep was added to the party. The plea will be heard again next Friday.
