Action has been urged against documentary film director Leena Manimekalai, who published defamatory photographs of Hindu god Kaliamman.
In this regard, a petition filed by Kumari District BJP’s Spirituality and Temple Development Unit District President Anusia Selvi on Friday at Kotaru Police Station in Nagpur: Leena Manimekalai has advertised her documentary film on social media to slander the Hindu god Kaliyamman. His actions hurt the sentiments of Hindus and mocked the faith of Hindus. Therefore, it has been mentioned that Leena Manimegalai should be arrested and her documentary should be banned for disturbing the public peace.
In this, BJP district treasurer M. Muthuraman, Municipal Parvaiyaal Jaganathan, District Vice President of Spirituality and Temple Development Division Ramesh, Murugesh, Rajakumar, Bhatharsarathi, Jayaram, District President Nagarajan, Rajan, Jayaram and others were present.
