jpnn.com – Badminton player Moh. Zaki Ubaidillah made a surprise by winning the title of the 2024 Indonesia Masters Super 100 tournament in Pekanbaru.
Zaki climbed to the first podium after defeating Alwi Farhan at the Pekanbaru Youth Sports Hall, Riau, Sunday (1/9/2024), with a score of 21-16, 21-14.
After the match, Ubed – Zaki’s nickname – admitted that he played patiently when attacking Alwi Farhan’s defense.
In addition, the men’s singles player ranked 219th in the world was also able to suppress Alwi’s attacks until he finally won in 43 minutes.
“In this match, I tried to play patiently and not rush in playing. I won in the first game because I was in the wind,” said Ubed.
