Defective engines: victims of Stellantis and Renault stand together

Different manufacturer, different engine, same problems. In the so-called “Motorgate” affair, several dozen Renault, Dacia and Nissan car owners (the other Alliance group) filed a criminal complaint against Renault Group and Nissan before the criminal court of Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine) last spring. They consider themselves victims of the 1.2 TCe engine, fitted to 400,000 vehicles from October 2012 to June 2016. In France, 133,050 cars are potentially affected.
