The Meteorological Department has said that there is a delay in the formation of a depression in the southern Andaman Sea.
The Center for Meteorology said that a new depression will form in the southern Andamans and adjoining areas tomorrow. It was reported to move west-northwest and strengthen within 48 hours after the depression formed.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, a low pressure area will form the next day instead of tomorrow.
It is also said to move in a northwesterly direction after the formation of the barometric region.
