Buttler scored 863 runs in 17 matches last season and was considered a key player for the Rajasthan team. If he is unavailable to play, the team will have to adjust their strategy accordingly. Dhruv Jural may get the chance to play as the opener. Alternatively, captain Sanju Samson may take on that role. Buttler’s absence will certainly benefit their opponents, as he is known for his ability to hit sixes on pitches like Chennai.
