The Angels of Charity program of the Health, Social and Cultural Foundation of Szeged Charity is being held for the fourth time. Over the past three Christmases, more than 300 children have received gifts thanks to this, and this year I want to bring and “deliver” the Christmas miracle to at least 100 children. With the news and the opportunity, they want to reach those who need help so that a gift can be placed under the tree on the holiday.
According to their website, they only accept applicants from the county of Csongrád-Csanád. The parents are asked to provide a brief introduction about the family, including the name, age, and city/town of the county of the child making the request, as well as the child’s drawing or letter to the Angels. Their requests will be added to the list of Angels of Charity, and the wishes and dreams of the first 100 applicants will come true. They are expected by e-mail on November 15, at 4 p.m [email protected] or by post to their office at Kálvária tér 31, 6725 Szeged. The gifts collected during the program will be given to the children in festive packaging at the IH Event Center.
The Kharisz Foundation will start a collection under the name Szeretetboz for families and children in need between November 10 and December 16. Anyone who wants to help has nothing else to do – as stated in the invitation – but to find an empty shoe box “and fill it with gifts that you would like to receive”. Then, after the packaging, you have to write how old the boy or girl is intended for. As they say, “the joy of the holiday belongs to everyone!”. Collection point at the Baksi butcher shop and grocery store at Fő utca 83.
