With a ceremonial opening, the national finals of the Best Student of Forestry and Logging Trade Competition began on Wednesday, which is being organized by the Bedõ Albert Forestry Vocational High School, Vocational School and College in Ásotthalm for the sixteenth time in the history of the competition. In addition to the local team from Szőcsénypuszta, the Déli ASzC Zsigmond Széchenyi Agricultural Technical Universitya team came from Vocational School and College.
The fifteen competitors were greeted by Andrésiné Ambrus Ildikó, the principal of the school, and then gave the floor to the Alföldi Center for Agricultural Vocational Training to its director general, József Horváth.
Today’s competition is no longer the first stop of this competition. I can say without any exaggeration, as it is in your name, that you are the country’s best forestry and logging students in this grade. That in itself is a great achievement
said the general director, and then wished the competitors great racing and good results. For two days, the students measure their knowledge in accordance with the training requirements. The practical tasks will include felling, cleaning, marking and chain-saving cutting.
The Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry XVI. organizes national professional competitions, the finals of which will be held on April 24-25 in Budapest. The event, like last year, National Chamber of Agriculture in cooperation with the presentation of 21 agricultural professions.
