In line with this, every program at Klímanócskák was about the selective collection and processing of garbage in the last week of November. They playfully learned how to learn to live a packaging-free lifestyle that produces less waste. Papír Piri, Kata Komposzt, Fanni Fém, Ödön Üveg, Peti Palack and Vendel Veszély led the children on planet-friendly adventures. They got to know the waste pyramid, and together they even went on an environmentally conscious shopping spree. In fact, they held a “buy nothing” day to raise awareness of the importance and joy of experiential gift giving. In the Klímanócska group, the planet-friendly approach pervades their every day: Santa Claus is also expected with environmental wishes and commitments.
