(ANSA) – GIFFONI VALLE PIANA, JULY 28 – The Giffoni children’s festival has a brand worth 71 million: the estimate emerges from a report by Deloitte that was presented in Giffoni Valle Piana, on the occasion of the closing of the 54th edition of the Giffoni Film Festival. Deloitte’s study started by focusing on the economic value of the brand calculated with the Relief from Royalty method and here the estimate reached 7 million. Then the perimeter was widened to the so-called brand awareness, so as to read the economic impact associable to the media visibility of the brand, based on exposure on web, social, television, radio and press channels. And we are at 45 million. The last step was to consider the “social value” of the brand, that is, the economic impact produced in the locations hosting the Giffoni Film Festival, directly attributable to the Giffoni brand throughout the year: and here we arrive at 71 million euros.
