The public has demanded that the ration shops in the surrounding areas of Karungal should supply quality rice.
There are more than 50 ration shops in the surrounding areas of Karungal. The public alleges that the rice provided to family card holders here is of poor quality. In particular, it has been reported that substandard rice is being supplied in ration shops in Mathikodu, Karungal, Butteri, Kappiara, Midalam, Inayam and other areas.
Therefore, the public from all walks of life have demanded that the government should take steps to provide quality rice.
