New Delhi: Luxury Homes in Delhi-NCR on a High

The number of luxury homes in Delhi-NCR has surged, while interest in affordable homes has waned, according to a recent report by real estate consultancy firm Anarock. Data reveals that luxury home sales in the first half of 2024 have reached an all-time high, with a 5-year record being broken in this segment.
During the period January-June 2024, approximately 32,200 houses were sold in NCR. Over 45% of these were luxury homes, while 24% were in the affordable segment. In 2019, the figures were just 3% and 49%, respectively.
Gurugram: A Hotspot for Real Estate
Gurugram has emerged as the most active real estate market in NCR in recent years, with 17,570 units sold across various budget segments in the first half of 2024. Luxury homes accounted for 59% (10365 units) of these sales, while the affordable segment saw 27% (4710 units).
Noida-Greater Noida: Mid-Range Dominates
Noida and Greater Noida witnessed the sale of 8425 units in the first half of 2024. Luxury homes accounted for 42% (3550 units) of these sales, while only 13% (1100 units) were in the affordable segment. The mid and premium segment saw the highest sales share, with 3770 units (45%).
Sales Across Major Cities
Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Delhi, and Bhiwadi together sold 6205 units in the first half of 2024. Luxury homes accounted for 715 units, while affordable housing saw sales of 1,920 units. The mid and premium segments witnessed the highest sales, with 3,570 units.
