The Dhaka Metropolitan South Committee of Islamic Movement held its monthly meeting in the capital on Friday
Islami Andolan Bangladesh Assistant Secretary General and Dhaka Metropolitan Committee President Maulana Muhammad Imtiaz Alam said that the education curriculum revision committee should be confirmed as a cleric representative. At the same time effective steps should be taken to remove all inconsistencies from the education curriculum. No curriculum adopted by the fascist government can exist in Bangladesh. Effective and visible reforms should be undertaken immediately in all sectors including education.
He said these things in the president’s speech at the monthly meeting organized by Dhaka Metropolitan South Committee of Islamic Movement on Friday (September 27) afternoon.

Rafiqul Islam, MM Shoaib, Maulana Kamal Hossain, Kayes Uddin, Nazir Ahmad Shibli, Al-Amin Ehsan, Advocate Monir Hossain, Engineer Ghulam Mostafa, Maulana Zobair Hossain, Ghulam Azam etc.
Maulana Imtiaz said that it should be made clear as to whose behest of controversial persons who clearly declare, ‘I don’t like religion’, who have been placed in the Education Curriculum Revision Committee to implement whose agenda. A new committee should be formed excluding such controversial persons. Along with this, it should be ensured that clerical representatives are kept in all revision committees.
