Demichelis One Step Away from Becoming Rayados Coach

It appears that Martín Demichelis has already moved on from his departure from Millo, as he is one step away from becoming the coach of Rayados de México. Just two weeks after leaving Millo, Demichelis is reportedly close to securing the top job at the Mexican club.
As confirmed by sources in Mexico, Rayados have made contact with four potential coaches: Eduardo Coudet, Jorge Sampaoli, Eduardo Berizzo, and Demichelis himself. The latter two have reportedly impressed the team, but the former River coach is now the frontrunner.
If Demichelis joins Rayados, he will need to rebuild his coaching staff, as Javier Pinola has already departed for Germany. He will also have a number of Argentines under his command: Esteban Andrada, Corcho Rodríguez, and Germán Berterame.

It remains to be seen whether Demichelis will be able to calm the waters at Rayados and allow Maxi Meza, who has been linked with a move to River Plate, to depart without incident.
Meanwhile, Monterrey, already eliminated from the League Cup, sits ninth in the Mexican Apertura after four games. They will also be participating in the upcoming Club World Cup, just like River Plate. It remains to be seen if a clash between the two clubs can be avoided.
