He continued, “I would like to ask whether he is confident that he can get away with the pouring evidence of Mrs. Kim’s stock price manipulation, or whether he gave investigative guidelines to the prosecutors who came to investigate the ‘emperor’s audience.’”
Spokesperson Hwang said, “The prosecution had already secured a letter from Mr. Kim, the ‘second main gun’, which was crucial evidence of Mrs. Kim’s involvement in stock price manipulation, and when the investigation began in earnest, Ms. “We also confirmed that they contacted her several times,” he criticized, adding, “Nevertheless, the prosecution is only using all kinds of sophistry and legal principles that go beyond common sense to protect Ms. Kim, and the blood of the people is rising.”
He continued, “The prosecution, which has abandoned even the minimum of fairness and neutrality and has been reduced to a private organization that protects the president and his wife, has lost the right to speak of judicial justice.” He pointed out, “The justice of the prosecution is dead, and all that remains is a cowardly struggle not to lose vested interests.”
At the same time, he warned, “As the public’s demand for a special prosecutor has grown, the only way to reveal the truth is through a special prosecutor,” and added, “If President Yoon Seok-yeol continues to reject the Special Prosecutor Act of First Lady Kim Kun-hee to the end, the people’s stern judgment will follow.”
