Employees of the Municipality of Rhodes will stage a protest against the non-granting of Personal Protective Equipment at the next meeting of the municipal council.
As announced by the president of the workers, Depy Michaelidis, the approximately 650 beneficiaries are waiting for the granting of PPE for the years 2023 and 2024. For last year, as stipulated by the law, there should be a monetary valuation of the PPE that was not granted, while for in the current year, as many items as are foreseen should be granted to each employee who is entitled to them.
