Large-scale demonstrations took place tonight as thousands of Israelis expressed their frustration with the ongoing legal revolution in the country. This marked the 30th week of protests against the government’s actions. According to protest organizers, over 370,000 people participated in the demonstrations, which spanned from Goma Junction to Eilat.

The heart of the protest was in Tel Aviv, where approximately 200,000 protesters gathered. Throughout the evening, an additional 170,000 people joined the demonstrations in other centers across the country.

The student protest also made its presence felt, with three marches taking place in Tel Aviv, heading in different directions. The demonstrations aimed to highlight public dissatisfaction with the government’s handling of the legal revolution.

During a demonstration in Netanya, Member of Knesset Gideon Sa’ar addressed the crowd, criticizing the Prime Minister for his failure to confirm his respect for the court’s ruling in a recent interview. Sa’ar emphasized that a prime minister and government that disregard court decisions risk losing their legitimacy.

Attorney Eliad Sharga, chairman of the movement for the quality of government, also spoke at the Netanya demonstration. In his speech, Sharga drew parallels between the extremist factions that led to the destruction of the Second Temple and the current political climate. He lamented the loss of honor, respect, and unity in society, urging the public to fight for a return to those values.

Advocate Hidi Negev, director of the Policy and Legislation Department in the Movement for the Quality of Government, spoke at a demonstration at the Gedera Junction. Negev pointed out several bills proposed in the Knesset that could undermine the independence of the judiciary and weaken democratic institutions. He called on the public to intensify their protest to prevent the passing of these laws, emphasizing that democracy is at stake.

The demonstrations were documented by various photographers, including Amir Goldstein, Yair Pelti, Dror Gilboa, Yoram Shapirer, Yael Ronan, Tiffany Wiener, Niv Gerber, Gilad First, and others.

The ongoing protest against the legal revolution shows the depth of public concern about the government’s actions. The demonstrations aim to send a clear message demanding respect for the judiciary, the maintenance of democratic values, and a society with greater unity and accountability.
