Civil Society Activists Demand Release, Improved Living Conditions in Guinea
For over a month, civil society activists Oumar Sylla and Bilo Bah have been kidnapped in Guinea. Despite calls for their release both domestically and internationally, the junta led by Mamady Doumbouya has remained unresponsive. However, actions are multiplying.

The liberation of the media.
Improved living conditions, particularly regarding electricity and the cost of basic necessities.
The return to constitutional order.
The organization also called on the people of Guinea to join a historic mobilization for the demonstration, which will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on August 13th in Conakry.
The demonstration’s itinerary is as follows:
* Tannerie-Gbessia-Kenien-Madina-September 28 Stadium roundabout
The demonstration’s demands are:
- Immediate release of the five detained activists.
- Liberation of the media.
- Improved living conditions, particularly electricity supply and lowering the prices of basic necessities.
