Hundreds of kilometers apart and a few hours apart, Dr Amine Umlil and Dr Louis Fouché will both be judged by the Order of Physicians this Thursday, October 19. The International Association for Independent and Caring Scientific Medicine (AIMSIB) publishes a letter of “unconditional support”.
They have neither the same background nor the same profile, yet they will be judged for the same reason: having spoken too much. This is not news to our readers: in broad terms, the Order of Physicians criticizes them for having too insistently expressed their opinions contrary to government health policy during the Covid-19 health crisis.
Amine Umlil is a doctor of pharmacy and lawyer in health law, former intern at Toulouse hospitals. Louis Fouché graduated Major in his medical class, while following training in Letters and Philosophy, before becoming an anesthetist-resuscitator.

Their jobs are at stake. In their letterthe question asked by AIMSIB is clear: “Why should we deprive ourselves of such health professionals?”
“If we wanted to briefly recall the journey of these two caregivers, it is because we are worried to see that we are trying to judge, criticize, humiliate excellent professionals without ever once taking their skills into account medical.”, explains the association, certain that these judgments are more about vendetta than justice.
In fact, Amine Umlil and Louis Fouché will be judged by the disciplinary tribunal of their respective professional order. The problem is that “these judges who must be impartial are also the same ones who summoned these two professionals, they are the same ones who initiated the trial and who are at the origin of the complaint.”
Because “many have been denouncing these exceptional tribunals that are the disciplinary chambers of the councils of the order for years, but [que] nothing changes”, the AIMSIB calls for two rallies to support each of the two men.
