PP do not budge from their position that Nikolay Denkov should become foreign minister after the rotation. PP-DB MP Vasil Pandov said this to BNT
“What’s new since yesterday is that the conversation is best held between the two of them – Nikolay Denkov and Maria Gabriel, because already during the formation of the government, the breakthrough came when they both sat down and expertly laid out the declaration”.
Nowhere in the declaration is it specified that the prime minister will remain foreign minister, said Pandov and pointed out that now is not the best time to go to elections.
When there is a threat to the justice system, the state must react in an appropriate way – this is how Pandov commented on the “Notary” case.
“In order to eliminate the “Notary” infection, a major effort by the magistrates themselves is necessary. Without honest, conscious magistrates, and there are such, it cannot be overcome.”
According to the MP, magistrates need support – both from the Ministry of the Interior and from the services. He pointed out that the special commission in the parliament is not and cannot be an investigative body, but it should give publicity to the accumulated problems. If politicians were involved with the Notary, they should have admitted it themselves, because the commission would not have been able to prove it.
Vasil Pandov also said that the legal committee in the parliament will once again examine the changes in the Civil Code, a debate is expected.
“These changes were adopted at the insistence of the expert opinion of the supreme magistrates themselves, who pointed out the danger of blocking their work”.
Pandov, who is part of the health commission in the parliament, indicated that a new formula for calculating the prices of oncological drugs is to be developed:
“The supervisory board of the NHIF is underway, but the prices will be reduced and there will be no differences of 25 times”.
According to Pandov, the new health minister must be “a person who has vision, energy and courage to defend his views before the people’s representatives”.
