jpnn.comJAKARTA – The Indonesian National Police’s Special Detachment 88 Anti-terror Team arrested two suspected terrorists from the Jamaah Anshorut Daulah (JAD) network in Bima, West Nusa Tenggara.

Of the two arrested, one of them was the leader of the JAD group.

“There were two suspects arrested with the initials LHM and DW,” said Head of Public Information Division of the National Police Public Relations Division, Senior Commissioner Erdi Adrimulan Chaniago in his statement in Jakarta, Saturday (7/9).

This middle-ranking police officer explained that the two terrorism suspects were arrested in two different locations.

According to him, DW was arrested on Jalan Gajah Mada, Penarega, Bima. Then, LHM was arrested in Pentol, Mpunda District, Bima.

He said that the two suspects each had their own roles.

Erdi said that LHM played the role of amir (leader) or senior person in the JAD group.

According to him, LHM mobilized members for physical agility activities and mobilized association activities in Bima, West Sumbawa and Lombok Island.
