BSP MP Petar Kanev has been re-elected as vice president of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation.

The decision was taken by a large majority during the General Assembly of the Federation in the “Vitosha” hall in Sofia.

“Working with teenagers should be among the main priorities of the federation. Every year we are convinced of what incredible talents we have and this summer is no exception. The successes of the national teams among teenagers give us confidence that we are going in the right direction and we will soon be able to enjoy and on strong men’s and women’s squads. A new 4-year Olympic cycle begins and now is the time to prepare the program for it precisely, in detail. We have the potential as soon as we reach the finals and win titles an opportunity to increase the qualifications of the coaches. They are the main reason for the children to stay in volleyball,” Kanev described his priorities for the next four years as vice president of the volleyball federation.

He will work together with Ljubo Ganev, who was elected as chairman.
