After six months of competition, the Desafío XX came to an end with a face-off between Kevyn, the captain of team Pibe, and Darlyn, from team Tino, who secured their place in the grand final where the winner will receive the top prize of 1.2 billion pesos.
Prior to the final, the captains of both teams, Faustino ‘El Tino’ Asprilla and Carlos ‘El Pibe’ Valderrama, visited the finalists and motivated them before the last test. Additionally, the families and friends of both finalists connected with them via video call on the day before the test that would decide everything.

Then, the members of team Pibe and team Tino entered the stage where the final test would take place, accompanied by an expectant audience and their teammates.One of the surprises of the night occurred when presenter Andrea Serna introduced Yeison López, Gokú, a participant fromDesafío Super Humanos 2018 who won a silver medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
After reminiscing about the best moments from his season, it was confirmed that one of the sponsors gifted him all the appliances and furniture for the house he gifted to his mother, as well as for his own, something that the medalist appreciated.
In the test, Guajira supported Kevyn, and Sensei did the same for Darlyn.The winner would be decided in an obstacle course where their support members would be key to giving the finalists the necessary advantage for better chances of victory.The winner would be whoever pressed the button located next to the trophy first.
Guajira and Darlyn completed the first part of the test, with the latter taking a significant lead due to the issues faced by the participant from the ‘team Pibe’ in the coordination test. This led Tino to constantly ask Darlyn to stay calm, given the difference she had over her opponent.
When Darlyn handed over to Sensei, she found herself with a considerable advantage, and although Kevyn managed to cut down the differences, the two members of the ‘team Tino’ continued to overcome the different obstacles with some comfort, as Kevyn and Guajira had issues advancing in the balance obstacle, which led to mentions on social media about the weight difference between both being decisive for the ‘team Tino’.However, the test became more competitive when the phase of getting the four balls into the wheel of fortune arrived, the last step before deciding the winner.
At that moment, both pairs were competing neck and neck, and now the final test put their strength and coordination to the maximum test. The two teams began getting the balls into a “mano a mano” which excited those in attendance, as when Darlyn and Sensei sank one of the balls, Kevyn and Guajira responded immediately.
At one point in the test, the ‘team Pibe’ took a lead of 3-2, and the ‘team Tino’ tried to level the playing field, which they achieved with great effort as they coordinated their weights with the movements of the last ball. Both were close at different moments, and it was evident the fatigue was taking its toll on the participants,but ultimately it was the ‘team Pibe’ and Kevyn who took the victory, allowing the Puerto Boyacá resident to lift the trophy alongside Guajira and claim the prize of 1.2 billion pesos.
