‘Design Korea 2024’, the largest comprehensive design exhibition in Korea, hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion, will be held for five days from November 13 to 17 at COEX D Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

Design Korea, which began in 2003, celebrates its 22nd anniversary this year. In particular, this event is garnering much attention as it is being held as the ‘KDF (Korea Design Festival),’ an integrated brand launched last year through cooperation between the government, local governments, and the private sector to promote a design boom.

This year, Design Korea will present a vision for the future of the design industry in line with the advancement of AI technology under the theme of ‘How AI Works in Our Everyday Life?’

The theme exhibition hall will display content on the activities of designers who are directly facing the changes brought about by artificial intelligence and the future lifestyles they envision, under the sub-theme of ‘Designers as Active Players.’

We also plan to operate a corporate pavilion to create business by attracting corporate investment and connecting buyers, a job fair pavilion to support employment for young designers, an international conference to discuss the future direction of the design industry by inviting famous domestic and international speakers, and a government support performance pavilion to show the results of the government’s design support.

Companies wishing to participate in the corporate pavilion can apply through the Design Korea 2024 official website until the 30th.
