Rudraj is said to be returning to his home state to take part in the Ranji Trophy series as he has no chance in the Indian team.

The corona test for the Indian team players who came to Ahmedabad to participate in the one-day series between the India-West Indies teams. The Indian team players including Dhawan, Rudraj Kejriwal and Shreyas Iyer were confirmed to have corona infection.
This made it impossible for them to play in the series against the West Indies.
In this condition, currently another starter Rudraj Kejriwal has also recovered from the infection.
However, with captain Rohit Sharma already making it clear that senior opener Shikhar Dhawan will be the opening batsman for the third ODI against the West Indies, it seems that Rudraj Kejriwal will not be considered for the match.
Rudraj was selected in the Indian squad for the New Zealand T20 series. However, he was not given a chance to play in the ODI series against South Africa.
It has been reported that Rudraj will return to his home state of Maharashtra to participate in the Ranji Trophy.
