Following the fighting situation in Ukraine and against the background of the foreign ministry’s travel warning, most travel insurance companies refuse to insure travelers to Uman. But the Passportcard insurance company issued an official announcement about the sale of insurance for the tens of thousands of Hasidic who are expected to attend during Rosh Hashanah and the holidays of Tishrei the Zion of Rabbi Nachman of Breslav Bauman, and this was due to the company’s understanding that the thousands of Hasidic would come anyway.
In view of the consequences of the fighting in the territory of Ukraine, which include the closure of Ukrainian airspace to civilian flights, which prevents the possibility of an aerial rescue in the event of an emergency, the PassportCard insurance company is deploying an extensive array of ambulances that will allow the evacuation of the wounded and seriously ill to the border crossings for their continued flight to Israel, in addition to a special arrangement with a clinic on the main street A short distance from Zion, which will be prepared to provide the most emergency treatments.
