Ganz sought to express appreciation for the precise and extensive activities throughout the weekend in all sectors of all security forces. He noted that Israel will continue to act in a targeted manner against terrorism and restrain anyone who seeks to violate public order.

The Minister of Defense also decided, on the recommendation of the security bodies, that no closure would be imposed on Judea and Samaria in the future and that situation assessments would continue to take place later in accordance with developments.

Following this, the closure will end tonight at midnight.

In assessing the situation, the plan was presented to continue the extensive deployment of forces at the seam and in the various centers in Judea and Samaria during the holiday week, according to the outline formulated by the IDF.

In clashes yesterday on the Temple Mount, about 470 Arab suspects were arrested, including 65 minors, including children under the age of 14 who were interrogated and released after pledging not to reach the Old City for the next 15 days.

Tonight, dozens of suspects will be brought to court and the police will ask for an extension of their detention, others are expected to be released subject to deportation conditions.
