The “Return to the Mountain” movement has concluded their “Passover Sacrifice Operation” before the start of the holiday. Thirteen Jews attempting to offer a Passover sacrifice were arrested by police throughout Jerusalem, with five goats being seized and two activists receiving an administrative removal order for the next three weeks from Major General Rafi Milo. The activists responded to the order by stating that sacrificing the Passover sacrifice is not a provocation but the fulfillment of a “mitzvah of action” for the people of Israel. Two activists at the Moghrabim gate and two others at the Nablus Gate were caught with goats for the Passover sacrifice. All the detainees were recently released under restrictive conditions with the district court cancelling the restrictions imposed earlier this week on Raphael Morris, the chairman of the movement. The “Return to the Mountain” movement thanked all the dedicated activists who came to Jerusalem today and took another important step towards renewing the work of sacrifices in the holiest place for the people of Israel. The group also expressed their gratitude to the Honnu organization and attorney Nati Rom for providing legal assistance to all the detainees. A spokesperson for the “Return to the Mountain” movement shared photos and a video of the event.

In the “Return to the Mountain” movement, this evening (Wednesday) concludes the “Passover Sacrifice Operation” before the start of the holiday. According to the movement’s data, thirteen Jews who tried to offer a Passover sacrifice were arrested by the police throughout Jerusalem, five goats were seized by the police and confiscated, and two activists received an administrative removal order for the next three weeks, signed by the Home Front Command Major General Rafi Milo.

The expulsion order states: “According to current information, it appears that you intend to carry out provocation activities that may affect the security situation on the Temple Mount and the Old City, with an emphasis on the period of Ramadan and Passover.”

The orders were given to the activists last night by YMR police officers and in the movement of those returning to the mountain they said in response, “Sacrificing the Passover sacrifice is not a provocation but the fulfillment of a “mitzvah of action”, in which every man and woman of the people of Israel is obligated. Despite all the orders and restrictions, many Jews will arrive tomorrow to demand the sacrifice of the Passover sacrifice on the Temple Mount.”

Today, as mentioned, two activists of the movement were caught at the entrance to the Moghrabim gate that goes up to the Temple Mount with a goat for the Passover sacrifice and two other activists were arrested at the Nablus Gate with a goat on the way to the Temple Mount.

A short time ago, all the detainees were released under restrictive conditions. The district court canceled the restrictions imposed earlier this week on Raphael Morris, the chairman of the movement.

The “Return to the Mountain” movement said: “A big thank you to all the dedicated activists who came to Jerusalem today with the goal of offering the Passover sacrifice. This year, unfortunately, we were unable to fulfill the mitzvah, but we took another important step on the way to renewing the work of sacrifices in the holiest place for the people of Israel. We are also especially grateful To the Honnu organization and to attorney Nati Rom for the legal assistance to all the detainees.”
