Originally made in Telugu, this pan India film is releasing in theatres on Friday, 27 September 2024. The advance booking of the film has started and is in full swing. While the first day advance booking has seen a 47% increase in the last 24 hours, there are still three days left. It looks like ‘Devra’ is going to be the biggest solo opening of Jr NTR’s career. Jr NTR is returning to the screen after two years of the blockbuster RRR released in 2022. Interestingly, this is the actor’s first solo hero film after six years of ‘Aravinda Sametha’ released in 2018. There is no doubt that Jr NTR’s popularity is skyrocketing after RRR. Now his fan following is not only in Telugu but also in Hindi and at the global level. Its effect is also visible in the pre-sales of ‘Devra’, where till Tuesday morning, the gross advance booking for this film has been more than 30 crores worldwide.
2 lakh tickets of ‘Devra’ sold out in 24 hours
Advance booking of ‘Devra’, directed by Koratala Siva, started in India on Monday. According to the report of sacnilk, more than 2.17 lakh tickets have been sold till Tuesday morning. Out of these, the maximum 2.16 lakh tickets have been sold for the Telugu version. While the film has earned Rs 5.28 crore from this. While there are still three more days left for advance booking.
Bookings worth around 10 crores till Tuesday afternoon

‘Devra’ can earn 100 crores worldwide on the first day
Trade experts estimate that ‘Devra’ can gross 5 million dollars (Rs 42 crores) on the first day in foreign countries. While in India, it can do a business of more than Rs 50 crores including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam.
