The working session also focused on the scientific studies and research that the two parties will conduct jointly, in order to protect camel breeds, improve their DNA through genetic research and increase the production of camel milk and meat, with a view to boosting investment in this area, the same source said.

It was also agreed to encourage a number of publications, such as the camel encyclopedia, and to raise awareness of the related heritage, through the production, among other things, of documentaries, digital content and children’s stories, to bring the new generations of the Islamic world closer to this heritage, ICESCO stressed.

At the end of this meeting, the two parties stressed that this cooperation will be fruitful, given the convergence of the visions and objectives of the two organizations, particularly in terms of heritage protection and promotion of identity.
