Tasnia Farin has won praise for acting in TV dramas and web films. Worked beyond the borders of the country in Bengal. This time Fareen will act opposite Tollywood superstar Dev. The new pair will be seen in a movie titled ‘Pratiksha’.
According to an Indian media, it will be directed by Abhijit Sen. Deb and Mithun Chakraborty, who gained popularity by acting in the movie ‘Prajapati’, are teaming up again with this movie. Here too, both will be seen in the role of father and son.
Director Abhijit told the media about selecting Farin, ‘Tasnia was selected by Atnu Roy Chowdhury. I also like his acting. We wanted someone new to pair with Dev.’
The shooting of the movie ‘Pratiksha’ will begin in November. Most of its shooting will be in London. It has been informed in this report that some parts will be shot in Kolkata as well.
Thanks to the OTT platform, West Bengal audiences are familiar with Tasnia’s performance. Her performances in the web series ‘Prison’ and ‘Ladies and Gentlemen’ were particularly appreciated. She won the Best Newcomer Award at the ‘Filmfare Awards Bangla 2024’ for her performance in Atanu Ghosh’s movie.
