The first quarter-final of the DFB Cup is on Tuesday evening. FC St. Pauli welcomes Fortuna from Düsseldorf to the Millerntorstadion. In addition to the pay channel Sky, ZDF will also broadcast the duel between the second division teams.

It starts on Tuesday and Wednesday DFB Cup is entering its hot phase: The last eight teams will compete against each other in the quarter-finals. After the elimination of Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and last year’s winner RB Leipzig, many lower-class teams are hoping for a place in the semi-finals.

In the next two English weeks there will be a quarter-final on Tuesday and Wednesday – all at 8.45 p.m. As in previous years, the pay TV channel “Sky” will broadcast all games live. In addition, three of the exciting encounters will also be shown on free TV.

ZDF will show the game between FC St. Pauli and Fortuna Düsseldorf on Tuesday. Kick-off takes place at 8:45 p.m. in the Millerntor Stadium. The broadcast begins at 8:15 p.m. The commentator is Martin Schneider and he is supported by Hanno Balitsch. A free live stream is available in the ZDF media library.

A day later, only Sky will broadcast the duel between Hertha and Kaiserslautern. The whistle also kicks off at 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Next week both games will be available for free again. The ARD shows the top game between Leverkusen and Kaiserslautern. ZDF takes over on Wednesday, February 7th and presents the frightening favorites Saarbrücken against Gladbach. The games will be broadcast on linear television as well as in the media libraries of public broadcasters.
