Dhanush has already won the National Award for Best Actor for his performance in the film Aadukalam. He recently won the National Award again for the 2nd time for his performance in the film Monster.

At this point there is currently another award for the monster film. The award was presented at the 52nd Indian International Film Festival in Goa for 8 days. The Goa Film Festival screened some of the best films released in various languages from India and around the world. The event was jointly organized by the Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the Goa State Government.
Actress Samantha was the special guest speaker. Dhanush starrer ‘Asuran’ was screened at the BRICS Film Festival in association with the Indian Film Festival. Dhanush was nominated for Best Actor for this film. The monster movie was released in 2019 and was a huge success. The actor and actress congratulated the award-winning Sagittarius.
