Mumbai: Indian star KL Rahul and Bollywood star Athiya Shetty got married last day. After a long love affair, Rahul got married to Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty’s daughter Athiya. Indian players including Virat Kohli could not attend Sunil Shetty’s wedding at Khandla’s farmhouse as they were playing in the series against New Zealand. MS Dhoni also did not attend the wedding.
Pinkvilla reported that former Indian captains MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli gave Rahul a wedding gift worth Rs 3.50 crore, even though they did not attend the wedding. Rahul made his debut in the Indian ODI and T20 teams under Dhoni. According to Pinkvilla’s report, Dhoni gave Rahul a Kawasaki Ninja bike worth Rs 80 lakh as a wedding gift.
Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress wife Anushka Sharma gifted Rahul a BMW car worth Rs 2.70 crore as a wedding gift. It is not clear which model of the bike Dhoni gifted, but it is hinted that it is Kawasaki’s Ninja H2R model. Its price is Rs 79,90,000.

Earlier there were reports that the wedding reception of both of them has been decided in June after the rush of India-Australia Test series and IPL. Rahul, who was ruled out of the series against Sri Lanka and New Zealand, will not play in the first two Tests of the India-Australia Test series. It is suggested that Rahul will now play in the ODI series against Australia in March.
