Diagoras 1-0: Christodoulopoulos served, Kousta to die and Giraos smiled

Herakles achieved a second treble in a row in Super League 2 when they beat Diagoras 1-0 in Kautanzoglio with captain Cristian Kousta scoring the golden goal.

Iraklis made another jump in group A’ of Super Lague 2 with the second three points in a row in Kautanzoglio. This time Giraos prevailed 1-0 against Diagoras and the captain Cristian Kousta was anointed as scorer.

Team forward Thanasis Staikou put the ball into the net with a nice header after a foul from Christodoulopoulos. The hosts had a chance to take the lead earlier in the game when Tsilingiris’ post stopped Tsintonis’ long shot.

With these three points, Iraklis raised eight points and entered the playoffs, while Diagoras remained at five points.
