Dialogues and transformations in the places of research and care of the psyche

The metaphor of the field emerges in the context of reflection around the phenomenology of analytic treatment, and its heuristic value contributes to highlighting the intersubjective and relational dynamics of the therapeutic process. This perspective introduces a vision of the Care path as a psychic place in which a form of interactive, conscious and unconscious experience is given life, which transcends individual individuals. The reflections proposed in the volume intend to reiterate the need to consider the therapy of individuals, groups, large groups, as places that promote symbolic and processual expressions, emerging from the flow of psychic communications. Against this background, the meaning of the work is outlined which aims, among other things, to “hold together” scholars of different origins; the reflections start from the metaphor of the analytic field and in some cases come to place it in relation to the formulations concerning the archetypal field and the collective unconscious.
