A collection of Diana’s letters, auctioned by Lay’s Auctioneers, fetched around Rs 1 crore in Indian currency. In one of the auctioned letters, dated February 17, 1996, she said, “If I had known a year ago what I would be going through with this divorce, I would never have agreed to it. “It’s difficult to discuss personal issues here because my lines are constantly recorded and posted here,” Diana wrote.
