BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed said that even though dictatorship has fallen, the insects of dictatorship are trying to create chaos in various institutions. The supporters of dictatorship are trying to create an ultra-revolution for the emergence of dictatorship. Everyone should be careful about them. He said this after paying tribute at the shrine of national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam on the occasion of his death anniversary.

Rizvi said, today is the 48th death anniversary of Kazi Nazrul Islam, the day is significant in many ways. Those who are Bengali speaking people remember this day with deep respect. In whose literary works we find how to get rid of deprivation against injustice. It has emerged in his poems, songs, literary works. He is the main poet of unique Bengali language. On the one hand he talks about rebellion against injustice. On the other hand, he is a poet of love. One such extraordinary conference is our national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.

He said, “You know that the movement of the last students, our young students collectively brought down a terrible dictator.” In the stormy waves of that movement, you heard ‘Kara oi Louh Kapat’. He heard in the movement ‘we are as fickle as springs’. In every aspect of that movement, young students got an unprecedented strength in the fight for the liberation of democracy by listening to Nazrul’s songs and singing Nazrul’s songs.

Rizvi said, how to fight against tyranny still inspires us today. So when we go to prison we sing Nazrul’s song. When we march we sing Nazrul’s songs, when we shout slogans, Nazrul inspires us. Nazrul’s songs and poems cheer us up when we are imprisoned.

A senior BNP leader said that dictator Sheikh Hasina was supported by a country in the world. They did not support the people of Bangladesh. A few days ago, the country opened their Dambur dam and flooded the eastern part of Bangladesh with severe floods, yesterday opened 109 Farakka gates. They are doing this with a planned evil purpose.

He said, when we need water during the dry season, they don’t give us water, they don’t give us our fair share. The people of Bangladesh have been deprived due to the knee-jerk policy of the dictator.

He said that Sheikh Hasina took control of various institutions of the government, institutions governed by independent rule. The Election Commission is one of them. Sheikh Hasina’s loyalists are still there. In various places of the administration, they have killed the bug.
