jpnn.comJAKARTA – Member of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives Habib Aboe Bakar Al Habsyi highlighted the incident of the discovery of seven bodies floating in the Bekasi River.
Habib then asked several things to the Bekasi City Metro Police Chief, Kombes Dani Hamdani.
He asked whether the body had thrown itself into the water or whether it was possibly thrown in by someone on guard.
“Judging from the news, the victims threw themselves into the river because they saw a Perintis patrol and died. The question is, did they really throw themselves in? That’s the first. The second, or were they actually thrown in by the patrolling officers?” asked Aboe, Tuesday (24/9).
Aboe said he did not want the police institution to become a target for other parties to blame.
“Has there been an investigation into this? This is important, we shouldn’t just blame the institution as we please,” said Habib.
He then asked about the cause of death of the seven people found.
According to him, the number of bodies is not small and is currently attracting public attention.
