The Ministry of Interior of Qatar officially announced last night the extension of the “Haya” visa granted to visitors to the country during the 2022 World Cup. According to the announcement, the Ministry of Interior extended the validity of the visa until January 24, 2024.
However, the official announcement states that in order to use the visa and enter the country, any tourist who wants to enter the country’s gates will have to prove that he has booked a hotel, or that he wants to stay with close friends or family members. In addition, the visitor will also need to present a return flight ticket to his country. Remember, before the World Cup started in the country, FIFA confirmed that Israelis would be able to enter Qatar during the games.
