Did you install Windows 11 despite the limitations? Watch for a note on the desktop

by time news

Microsoft (Microsoft) on the one hand strongly promotes Windows 11 and on the other hand very much does not want it to be installed on unsupported hardware. So beyond the limitations, it may soon also introduce a permanent watermark on the desktop for those who nevertheless violated the requirements.

According to the update that arrived in the latest developer version 22621, the inscription “System requirements not met” appeared at the bottom of the screen next to the start line. It is displayed next to the version number and is apparently currently being rolled out in beta versions after the big 22H2 update that was released last month.

This is not an unusual thing and Microsoft usually displays a similar inscription on a system that is not octaved or has passed the activation date. Of course, there are solutions that make it possible to remove this inscription for those who find it bothersome.

Remember, part of Microsoft’s requirements to run Windows 11 is a modern computer that supports a built-in encryption mechanism (TPM). Beyond that, the company is also updating the list of processors it supports, so that, unlike before, Microsoft is not interested in allowing the system to run on all types of computers today.
