In this regard, the Second Chamber of the SCJN determined that said regulation fails with the provisions of Convention 102 of the International Labour Organization (OIT).
SCJN issues resolution on pensions for the benefit of Pemex workers
The Second Chamber of the SCJN issued today a resolution on pensions that seeks to benefit Pemex workers and former workers.
This decision establishes from this moment that Pemex must pay retirement pensions To all the trusted staff who I would have worked for at least 15 years in the company, and who is over 60 years of age.
This is because currently the parastatal only contemplates the payment of pensions for trusted workers. that are 30 years old or older.
According to the SCJN, this rule violates ILO Convention 102which establishes the payment of pensions for workers who have contributed for 15 years or more in an institution, and who meet the retirement age requirement.
