Diddy Sued For Sexual Assault, Denies Allegations
Music mogul Diddy, also known as Sean Combs, is facing serious allegations of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman on camera more than three decades ago in New York City. The woman, identified as Joi Dickerson-Neal, claims that the assault took place in 1991 when she was a college student at Syracuse University.
According to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Dickerson-Neal alleges that Diddy took her on a date that quickly turned into a nightmare. She claims that after going out for chicken and waffles in Harlem, Diddy drove her to a recording studio where she began feeling the effects of being drugged. She alleges that after leaving the music studio, Diddy then drove her to a house where he sexually assaulted her and secretly recorded the act.
The woman is suing Diddy under New York’s Adult Survivors Act, which allows alleged victims of sexual abuse a one-year window to file a civil lawsuit, regardless of the statute of limitations. She accuses Diddy of not only assaulting her, but also showing the recorded tape to multiple people.
In response to the allegations, a spokesperson for Diddy stated that “Ms. Dickerson’s 32-year-old story is made up and not credible. Mr. Combs never assaulted her and she implicates companies that did not exist. This is purely a money grab and nothing more.”
This lawsuit comes in the wake of a recent explosive lawsuit filed by Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, Cassie, who accused him of rape, abuse, and human trafficking. Diddy reportedly settled that lawsuit quickly.
These serious allegations against Diddy have raised concerns and cast a shadow on his reputation in the music and entertainment industry.
