Poet and translator Anatoly Naiman died at the age of 86

The poet and translator Anatoly Naiman died at the age of 86. This was reported by the journalist and literary critic Anna Narinskaya, Naiman was her stepfather.
“Anatoly Naiman died tonight [21 января]”, she wrote on Facebook, adding that information about the farewell will be announced later.
Earlier, on January 18, Narinskaya reported that her father suffered a massive stroke during a speech on the poet Osip Mandelstam at a conference at the Higher School of Economics. “We are now transferring him from one intensive care unit to another. But the forecasts are disappointing,” she said.
