Beatrice Egli will sit on the DSDS jury alongside Dieter Bohlen this year. Even before the first episode aired on TV, the two clashed.

2024 is a very special year in Beatrice Egli’s career because she is returning to her roots. She will sit on the jury for the 21st DSDS season, alongside her former discoverer Dieter Bohlen. In a recent interview, the singer revealed that she had had a clarifying conversation with the music producer beforehand. There were disagreements between the two a few years ago. Bohlen now reacts to this statement in his own unique way.

Dieter Bohlen obviously didn’t miss the post. He shares a screenshot of the article on his Instagram story. In it he marks the statements mentioned by Beatrice Egli – and comments on them with the words “That is in no way the truth”. He does not comment further on the matter. He neither explains which statements from Egli he is specifically referring to, nor does he describe his view of things. A t-online query to the 70-year-old has so far remained unanswered.
Beatrice Egli has not yet responded to Dieter Bohlen’s Instagram post. As her interview continued, she found conciliatory words for the pop titan. She is looking forward to working together: “It’s nice that we’re starting a new beginning together.”
It wouldn’t be the first time that Dieter Bohlen has had a dispute with one of his jury colleagues. Last year he was constantly arguing with rapper Katja Krasavice. The two clashed in one of the first episodes after Bohlen asked candidate and ex-dome show participant Jill Lange: “Did you do anything normal? Or did you just let Abi and you mess around?” Since this incident, Bohlen and Krasavice have been at loggerheads. The 27-year-old even published chat histories to attack the musician.
