Recently, the new housing market is trying to differentiate itself by focusing on ‘child education’. In fact, new apartments with excellent educational environments often have subscription competition rates of tens to one, and apartment prices are often high. The main demand for apartments is the 30-40 age group, which is a dual-income household, and the demand for education for school-age children has been a major factor.
Recently, there has been an active movement to provide education-related programs. In May, HL D&I Hanla decided to provide specialized education services to residents in cooperation with Apptimizer, an AI-based education platform company.
According to the agreement, HL D&I Hanla Apartment will establish a vision of changing the future of children and will build it as a growth center that contributes to education and growth, not just a residential facility for sleeping. It is a project to transform the apartment into an education service center.
It will be conducted in a total of 4 stages. In the first stage, an online survey will be conducted for the children of residents in elementary school and high school to evaluate their aptitude and recommend universities and departments. In the second stage, learning motivation will be provided and opportunities to establish values will be provided, while career counseling will be conducted. It will be conducted in the form of face-to-face and non-face-to-face mentoring with Seoul National University students.
Stage 3 provides an understanding and experiential education program on augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), 3D printers, etc. in line with the era of the 4th industrial revolution. Stage 4 provides management of students’ educational progress and special lectures for parents on their children’s education.
An official from HL D&I Hanla said, “We will make this an apartment that realizes the happiness of the residents’ families by providing premium education and an optimal learning environment,” and “We plan to continue to supplement the educational services in the Epit complex in the future.”
‘Icheon Bubal Station Epit’, which HL D&I Hanla is planning to sell, will provide educational services prepared by Aptimizer and manage and support aptitude and growth goals for the children of residents. A smart learning center is also planned to be built within the complex.
As for the educational environment, Ami Elementary School is within walking distance, and Hyoyang Middle School and Hyoyang High School, which offer special admissions to rural areas, are located there. Icheon Sadong Middle School, Icheon Jeil High School, and Ihyeon High School are also nearby.
Icheon Bubal Station Epit is the first apartment in Icheon to be introduced by HL D&I Hanla, which renovated its apartment brand from Hanla Vivaldi to Epit.
The complex consists of 671 apartments and 32 officetels in 7 buildings, from the 4th basement floor to the 35th floor. All apartments are 84㎡ (exclusive area), which is preferred by actual demanders.
The Icheon Bubal Station Epit, which is being built near the Gyeonggang Line Bubal Station, has SK Hynix located across the street. It is within walking distance of Bubal Station, which provides quick access to Pangyo and Gangnam. The opening of the KTX, the GTX-D line, and the semiconductor line (Dongtan Bubal Line, Pyeongtaek Bubal Line) are expected to bring about favorable developments in metropolitan transportation.
POSCO E&C has reflected education-specialized services in The Sharp Riomont. It has signed an agreement with Jongno M School and provides two years of free education to the children of residents. Jongno M School is an education company that has maintained the top spot in the Brand Power Brand Academy category hosted by the Korea Productivity Association Consulting for 14 years.
Seoul Gaepo Jai Presidents also signed a business agreement with edutech company Jjakgak Crocodile and will hold a kids’ class for children to play and learn in the community. Doosan Construction signed a business agreement with Jongno M School and will provide elementary and middle school English and math education to some complexes. Munhwa Jai SK VIEW plans to establish a YBM English library in the apartment community.
